SUMMARY

The Guest Services, Retail, and Party Attendants provide information and admissions to guests visiting Splash Lagoon and top guest service in our Surf Shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES which may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:

  • Sell admission, arcade cards, lockers, and attraction passes to guests.
  • Provide information about attractions, amenities, and facility rules.
  • Record details of repair activities and ride shut down information.
  • Announce or describe amusement park attractions to patrons to entice customers to games and other entertainment on the PA system.
  • Greet party guests and show them to appropriate area.
  • Inspect serving & party area to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
  • Maintain contact with kitchen staff, guest services, management, and guests to ensure party details are handled properly and guest concerns are addressed.
  • Answer customer's questions about various gift shop items.
  • Communicate with guests and other employees regarding different merchandise.
  • Stocks the gift shop and sets up displays or arranges merchandise on counters, tables, racks to promote sales.
  • Accurately cash out items to ensure correct item count/ inventory.
  • Keeps the gift shop clean and orderly by cleaning up and folding different articles of clothing.
  • Operate a POS station.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to properly and safely operate equipment used.
  • Provide great customer service in person as well as over the phone. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Multi-tasking between helping existing guests with their needs and looking out for other guest who may need help.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with public, guests and staff members.
  • Must be firm, fair, consistent and courteous in order to gain the respect and cooperation of the public and employees.
  • Must have a positive attitude and good communication skills in order to fully cooperate with other employees in a team effort, and adhere to rules and regulations to ensure successful operation of a facility.
