Their primary responsibility is to review transactions, analyze patterns, and prepare Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) for regulatory authorities. AML SAR Analysts play a crucial role in helping financial institutions comply with anti-money laundering (AML) laws and protect the financial system from illicit activities. They often work closely with compliance teams and law enforcement agencies. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for this role.
