We are seeking aย Business Consultantย with experience inย Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Sanctions Compliance, andย third-party risk management, combined with strongย technical acumenย in data science, programming, and solution integration. This role is pivotal to expanding our due diligence and screening capabilities acrossย North America supporting complex client engagements and driving innovation in risk intelligence.

You will serve as aย technical SMEย and strategic partner to sales, product, and delivery teams, helping clients implement and optimize LSEG's AML and sanctions screening solutions. This includes leading RFPs, designing custom integrations, and advising on data architecture and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as aย technical and subject matter expertย in AML/Sanctions screening, supporting sales and client engagements across the Americas.
  • Lead strategic opportunities and RFPs, translating client needs into tailored technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with clients to design and implementย API-based integrations, data pipelines, and screening workflows.
  • Scope and deliverย bespoke projectsย using LSEG Risk Intelligence data and tools, including custom analytics and reporting.
  • Provide guidance onย data modeling, transformation, and enrichmentย to support risk decisioning.
  • Support theย sales processย by contributing to lead qualification, opportunity scoping, and solution positioning.
  • Partner with sales teams toย lead complex sales cycles, ensuring alignment between client needs and technical capabilities.
  • Represent LSEG at industry events and client meetings, showcasing our technical capabilities and thought leadership.
  • Know the latest on regulatory trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings in the AML and third-party risk space.
  • Champion theย voice of the customerย in product development and strategy discussions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience in AML, sanctions compliance, or third-party risk, with a strong technical orientation.
  • Proficient inย Python, Java, or other programming languagesย used for data processing, automation, or integration.
  • Experience withย data science concepts, including data wrangling, feature engineering, and model deployment.
  • Familiarity withย API technologies, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and enterprise data architectures.
  • Demonstrable ability toย translate complex technical conceptsย into business value for clients and stakeholders.

Compensation/Benefits Information:

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $86,300 - $143,900.Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Incentive Plan (AIP/"bonus plan"). Target AIP rates will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience. LSEG roles (excluding internships and part-time roles of less than 20 hours per week) are typically eligible for inclusion in our LSEG Benefits program, which includes offerings of: Annual Wellness Allowance, Paid time-off, Medical, Dental, Vision, Flex Spending & Health Savings Options, Prescription Drug plan, 401(K) Savings Plan and Company match.
