Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION


Aquila Catamarans is looking for a Dealer Sales Representative to serve as a key point of contact between Aquila and our authorized dealer network throughout the Americas. This role will work closely with the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and internal teams to support dealer relationships, product knowledge, commercial coordination, and communication between our dealers and factory team.

The ideal candidate is relationship focused, organized, and eager to develop strong product and technical knowledge. This role focuses on dealer support and requires regular travel throughout the dealer network.


Salary Range: $80,000โ€“$100,000, based on experience, plus bonus potential.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Serves as a key point of contact for assigned dealers throughout the Americas, maintaining strong relationships through regular communication and dealer visits.
  • Supports the CRO with dealer coordination, including pricing, commercial programs, agreements, action plans, and other dealer needs.
  • Coordinates across Sales, Marketing, R&D, After Sales, Logistics, and factory teams to address dealer needs and resolve questions.
  • Develops a strong working knowledge of Aquila models, specifications, options, features, and applications to effectively support dealer sales teams throughout the customer sales process.
  • Assists with the preparation and delivery of product and sales training for dealer teams, both virtually and in person.
  • Gathers dealer feedback on customer needs, competitors, market activity, and product performance and shares relevant information internally.
  • Works with Marketing on dealer materials, promotional support, boat shows, dealer events, and market needs.
  • Coordinates communication between dealers and Aquila's internal and international factory teams throughout the order through delivery process, including tracking production timing, order status, shipping schedules, and dealer updates.
  • Maintains organized dealer information, follow-ups, and activity within company systems and CRM platforms and prepares regular reporting for the CRO as needed.
  • Represents Aquila at dealer meetings, boat shows, training sessions, customer events, and other industry activities as needed.
  • Handles miscellaneous projects and special assignments as needed to support the CRO and Aquila dealer network.


JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS


  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in business, sales, marketing, or related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in sales support, account management, dealer relations, business development, or another customer-facing commercial role.
  • Experience working with dealers, distributors, resellers, or other B2B relationships.
  • Marine industry experience preferred but not required. Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn product specifications and translate technical information into practical dealer support.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with dealers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; HubSpot or CRM experience a plus.
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and ability to travel regularly throughout the Americas.
