American Plastics, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, is a leading designer and manufacturer of innovative plastic-injection molded products for the household & garage storage and commercial cleaning end-markets. We are searching for a Receiving Associate for our Jefferson City, MO location. This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties including typing, filing, and completion of simple forms.
  • Unload trucks safely via forklift.
  • Operates office machines including copiers, scanners, phone and voicemail systems, personal computers, and other standard office equipment.
  • Copies, sorts, and files records related to office activities, business transactions, and other matters.
  • Maintains filing systems either manually or electronically.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Schedule


M-F 12 pm to 8pm


Compensation


Up to $21.75 with perfect attendance


Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 2+ year of forklift experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, primarily Excel

Expectations:

  • Adhere to all safety procedures & help promote a clean work environment.
  • Work the schedule assigned (including overtime) and maintain good attendance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
