LOCATION: DeForest, WI


SHIFT: Rotating 1st and 2nd (2 Week Rotation)


SUMMARY: Assist operator in operation of the press.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Support operator’s efforts to meet budgeted targets.
  • Bring correct inks to press from ink room.
  • Remove rolls from rewind.
  • Maintain proper levels of ink, lacquers in sump.
  • Maintain ink viscosities.
  • Figure out ink formulas or ratios.
  • Know and follow all safety rules.
  • Check AIB log/SQF logs daily.
  • Read and follow instructions on computerized job jacket.
  • Assist in registering job.
  • Ability to make up flyers.
  • Actively participates in safety programs and makes safety observations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
