AMERICAN HEALTH ASSOCIATES, INC. is a premier clinical laboratory servicing over 3500 long-term care facilities. AHA is the fastest growing independent laboratory in the nation. By investing in technology and a skilled work force, we can offer a superior program focused on serving the long-term care industry.
AHA is looking for a responsible lab assistant to carry out sampling, testing, measuring, recording and analyzing in cooperation with the rest of the lab team. The successful candidate will have experience in a laboratory environment and accuracy in order to extract reliable and valid results.
Skills
  • Proven working experience as a lab assistant
  • Familiarity with automated laboratory equipment
  • Computer literacy and experience with Laboratory Information Systems
  • Accuracy and close attention to detail
  • Strong analytical judgement
  • Current license or relevant certification
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • BS degree in Medical Technology, Biology or related field is preferred
