Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager to lead strategic sourcing activities and manage a team of sourcing managers supporting a large-scale technology transformation program across Central America. The role will drive supplier strategy, technology sourcing, contract management, procurement operations, and stakeholder engagement while delivering commercial value and operational excellence.
What will your job look like?
  • Lead and mentor a team of Sourcing Managers across technology-related categories.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for Service integrators , Hardware, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Managed Services.
  • Lead RFx processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management activities.
  • Manage vendor relationships and governance frameworks.
  • Support procurement operations, reporting, spend analysis, and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with business, technology, finance, and executive stakeholders within a matrix organization.
  • Drive project delivery and sourcing workstreams for transformation initiatives.
  • Perform commercial analysis and support P&L improvement opportunities.

All you need is...
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Strategic Sourcing, Procurement, or Category Management.
  • Experience managing procurement projects and cross-functional stakeholder environments.
  • Strong project management and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Good understanding of the Central American and local supplier market.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the Telecommunications (Telco) industry.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business or technology transformation programs, including post-merger or integration environments.
  • Experience working within global or regional matrix organizations.
