Job description

Position Overview
D2 Government Solutions is seeking an Air Advisor Instruction / Mobility Support Advisor Squadron Instructor/Subject Matter Expert to support the Air Advisor Academic Support Services requirement at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. This role delivers instruction, evaluations, and course support focused on advisory mission planning, execution, reporting, cross-cultural instruction methods, and related Air Advisor mission topics.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction and evaluations to students on security cooperation concepts, authorities, command relationships, mission planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Provide instruction on teaching methodology in cross-cultural environments.
  • Teach topics such as command relationships, risk management, security cooperation, funding and legal authorities, force protection mindset, history of AMC GPF advising, theater-specific dynamics and US foreign policy, mission planning and coordination, and US Embassy operations.
  • Review student lesson plans, analyze student instructor delivery skills, and provide effective feedback.
  • Support curriculum development, course management, scheduling, and administration.
Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Deployment experience as an MSAS Mission Commander or Team Sergeant, Military Advisor, PAS Officer, RAS Officer, FAO, PRT member, attache, SCO, or equivalent military advisory role.
  • Completion of Air Command and Staff College, Senior NCO Academy, or sister-service equivalent, in residence or by correspondence.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience instructing advisory forces, security cooperation teams, mobility support advisor personnel, or foreign partner engagement missions.
  • Experience with student coaching, presentation skills development, and curriculum management.
  • Experience operating in cross-cultural and interagency environments.
Work Location and Conditions
Primary performance is expected at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey. Some travel may be required, including possible off-site or OCONUS support consistent with contract requirements.
