Job description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a dedicated, resourceful, and customer obsessed Executive Assistant. This role will work with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization. This role requires attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests across global teams.

The ideal candidate will be a detail oriented, experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility, composure and a good sense of humor.
The individual in this role must understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements to build capacity for the leadership team. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture

The ideal candidate must be able to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the group.
Working in a highly ambiguous environment, you will complete tasks and projects quickly and with little to no guidance, and take effective action without having to know the total picture. You will apply a superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. You will understand business priorities, demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs, and drive improvements to build capacity for the leaders and their teams

Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunity for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.
Key job responsibilities
* Proactively coordinate and engage with leadership in planning and organizing events, activities and calendars
* Orchestrate complex calendars, scheduling requirements, and prioritization of executive's tasks and appointments across time zones according to their importance, urgency, and relevance and ensuring strategic alignment with business priorities.
* Serve as a trusted liaison between executive leadership and key stakeholders, facilitating clear communication channels and managing sensitive information with the highest level of discretion
* Execute end-to-end travel logistics for international and domestic trips, including complex multi-city itineraries, client-facing events, and team visits across corporate offices.
* Lead the planning of events including staff meetings, all-hands meetings, executive offsites, team-building activities, supply ordering.
* Collaborate with the EA Community across AWS/AmSec to drive best practices, implement solutions, and drive organizational efficiency.
* Develop and maintain tracking systems for critical deliverables, ensuring on-time completion of executive and team commitments and providing regular status updates to key stakeholders.
