Job description

CloudOps Engineer - Austin, TX

We are currently looking for a full time experienced CloudOps Engineer who will work in direct support with production and cloud operations. This person will be joining a small but mighty team. Our client just received Series B Funding and is looking to expand with a person that is driven, proactive, and wants to help improve their environment. We are looking for people that can keep up in a fast-paced environment.

You will be standing up new server instances in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and other cloud services. Releasing new software into existing live instances, monitoring and troubleshooting, and escalating complex issues to the development team.

You will be working closely with the Dev and QA team to push out deployments, do automation, and maintain the client's environment. Releases are done every two weeks.

Required:

Experience working in a Linux environment is a MUST

Experience in launching new instances of AWS (Amazon Web Services)

Experience working with Terraform and Ansible

Experience working with end-users for delivery of a service

Experience monitoring alerts and performing troubleshooting to resolve issues

Experience maintaining internal cloud instances to ensure overall availability and performance

Experience with API gateway

Nice to have:

Experience with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
