Job Summary:

The Warehouse Planner is responsible for completing assigned Warehouse duties to ensure customer, team members, and vendor satisfaction. The Warehouse Planner does this by effectively handling all duties related to the planning and communication of incoming and outgoing product loads and the order and movement of trailers in the warehouse yard. The Warehouse Planner also provides assistance and support to all areas in the Warehouse as assigned by supervisor/lead The Warehouse Planner completes these functions in the support of the warehouse and distribution of dairy related products 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
     - Responsible for achieving assigned goals in the areas of warehouse distribution, safety, quality, performance, and cost.
     - Responsible for complying with GMP'S, SOP's, corporate and/or plant policies, rules, and regulations.
     - Effectively handling all duties related to the planning and communication of incoming and outgoing product loads and the order and direct movement of trailers 
     - Utilizes Log Pro inventory management system efficiently and accurately
     - Coordinates truck flow to maintain on time loading and delivery
     - Directs loaders when to take breaks and lunches to maintain warehouse efficiencies and other needs
     - Compliant with all legal requirements concerning dairy processing and safety on their assigned shift and reports concerns to their supervisor or lead 
     - Works in a safe manner and reports safety concerns promptly to their supervisor or lead and takes corrective action as necessary to ensure a safe environment
     - Responsible for reporting food safety problems and initiating action and for supporting SQF by maintaining food safety and food quality.
     - Ensures work areas are sanitary and strictly adheres to sanitation practices. Communicates effectively between shifts and other departments 
     - And perform any other duties assigned to them by supervision or management
Education and Experience:
     High School Diploma or equivalent 
     Ability to apply basic to complex mathematical concepts such as adding, counting, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and knowledge of weights and measures, to sufficiently handle job tasks
     Understand and respond appropriately to basic to complex employee, vendor, and customer inquiries.
     Read, write and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (Other preferences will be given tor special language skills when their a business need)
     Knowledge of Company's mission, purpose, goals and your role in achieving each of them 
     Ability to perform computer tasks and operating computer based systems and programs
Skills and Competencies:
     Team oriented; Ability to collaborate and operate in a team environment.
     Ability to multi-task.
     Exceptional interpersonal; and communication skills.
     Ability to work independently and in a team based environment.
     Above average computer skills and abilities
Physical Requirements:
     Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including but not limited to office, production, and warehouse environments. Including the outside perimeter of the building.
     Able to wear all necessary personal protective equipment to perform job functions-
 Stand and/or sit continuously and perform job functions for a full shift with meal break-
     Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, buist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move items weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance and move objects exceeding 50 pounds with reasonable accommodations  Visual acuity corrected to perform job functions.
