The pay range per hour is $20.82 - $37.45. You may also earn additional compensation in the form of a shift differential, ranging from $2.00 to $3.50 per hour, based on eligibility.

As a Problem Solver, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and quality of our inventory by verifying item attributions. You will act as the first responder to any identified defects, external damage, and exceptions as freight flows throughout a building by being available to respond to calls/alerts in real-time for operational teams. The Problem Solver will assist the Operations Managers in execution of detailed problem solving as defects are presented within these processes. This role will work to determine defect root cause, perform research of the defects, correct the defects, and document them. They will also work closely with the Inventory Control and Quality Assurance (ICQA) team and process teams within the building to solve problems identified. You'll successfully manage multiple priorities and processes, while offering a level of service that goes above and beyond the basics. Bring your ability to anticipate your leaders' needs and proactively solve problems before they arise, upholding Target's values and demonstrating the utmost poise, professionalism and leadership. About You:
  • Prior work experience as a warehouse worker, operations technician, or similar warehouse operator
  • Able to lift and carry merchandise weighing 35-50 lbs. frequently throughout a shift and up to 60lbs. Occasionally
  • Ability to be trained on powered equipment as needed
  • Maintain positive and respectful attitude while working independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to read, utilize matching skills and comprehend department/product documentation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing and competing priorities
  • Able to operate computer systems or handheld devices with minimal direction after receiving training
  • Ability to research defects/issues and root cause the drivers of those defects
  • Ability to perform basic data entry and analysis in excel
  • Ability to navigate web based ICQA reporting and forms (such as Smartsheet) with minimal direction after training
