Position: Warehouse Associate

Location: Victoria, BC

Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite 

Salary: $20.00 - 25.00

Requirements

As a Warehouse Associate for Upper Canada Forest Products, you will have the opportunity to expand your skillset and enhance our customer experience. 

If you are passionate about making a difference, impacting operations efficiencies, operating as a warehouse team, and ensuring our products are distributed safely - this opportunity may be the right fit for you. 

What you will do: 

  • Load, unload, move and stack products by hand and using a forklift.
  • Prepare order for shipment, ensure that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.
  • Handle freight and secure loads in accordance with established safety requirements.
  • Tag, mark, or label stock items and ensure they are placed in correct storage location.
  • As required, deliver product with a small delivery truck.
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Key updated inventory into the ERP system.
  • Report any discrepancies in inventory to management.
  • Maintain organized work area according to policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

What you bring to the table: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid drivers license required.
  • Previous forklift experience required.
  • Forklift license and asset but not required.
  • Lumber or panel experience is an asset.
  • Excellent customer service and the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift, pull, and push approximately 75lbs repetitively and safely.
