Compensation:

This position is hourly, and the starting pay rate is $21.86/hour with eligibility for a afternoon shift premium of $1.50/hr where applicable (DC roles only), and eligibility for an incentive target of $1,200.00 which is contingent upon achieving both individual and company performance objectives.

The pay range above is not a guarantee of compensation but reflects the potential total compensation for this role at the time of this posting based on the assigned job grade.  Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as geographic work location, relevant experience and individual skills.  The stated range is a reasonable estimate and may change over time; final compensation may fall above or below the range provided.  Grainger reserves the right to amend, modify, or discontinue its compensation and benefits programs at any time, in accordance with applicable law.

Position Summary:

We're hiring warehouse associates across multiple shifts with full-time positions available!

You'll report to a DC Supervisor or Process Manager and have regular interaction with other team members.

Job Responsibilities (You Will):

  • Safely and accurately complete warehouse tasks, including unloading, sorting, labeling, put away, replenishing, auditing, picking and packing products.
  • Operate wrist-worn or hand-held scanning equipment to accurately fulfill customer orders for shipping.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and hazardous material requirements.
  • Work collaboratively and assist other teams to meet safety, quality, productivity, behaviour, attendance, and overtime requirements.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.

Education/Experience (You Have):

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of work experience in a fast-paced and physically active job.
  • Ability to speak and understand written and spoken English.
  • Comfort working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working on or around moving equipment and elevated stations.
  • You'll need to frequently lift, push, and slide packages that typically weigh up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder heights.
  • Pass a pre-employment background check.
