Job description

Warehouse Associate

At Ecotech Solar, we believe in doing right by people—our customers, our coworkers, and our community. We're on a mission to deliver "good energy," and we're looking for someone ready to support the backbone of our daily operation with a team that takes pride in doing things with uncommon craftsmanship.

The Warehouse Associate is a vital part of our Operations Team, working directly with our Warehouse, Fleet, and Facility Specialist to ensure our field crews are fully equipped, our fleet is ready to roll, and our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine. If you find satisfaction in a perfectly organized space, love a dynamic workflow, and take pride in setting your team up for a successful day on the job, this could be the perfect fit for you.

This is a full-time position based in our Bellingham, WA office.

Typical Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday, 11:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
About The Role

The Warehouse Associate serves as a backbone for daily field operations. You'll partner closely with the Warehouse & Inventory Specialist to field inventory counts, stage project equipment, support tool and material restocking, and support the ever-moving logistics of our fleet and facility. This role flexes between during and after business hours in order to support warehouse needs during the day and supporting fleet needs once they're back from the jobsites each day. You'll often be the last person to stage a piece of equipment or restock and install kit before it goes to a jobsite, so your attention to detail matters. You'll be part organizer, part logistics teammate, and a critical member of a collaborative, experienced team.

What You'll Do
  • Master the Inventory: Support the Warehouse Specialist with shipping, receiving, recurring inventory counts, and restocking material to maintain an accurate management system.
  • Stage for Success: Support the staging of equipment and materials for upcoming installations, ensuring field kits are fully resupplied.
  • Own the Space: Keep the warehouse space clean, organized, and tidy, ensuring waste and recycling are properly handled. Ensure the business is closed securely each evening to guarantee a successful morning start.
  • Maintain Fleet: Ensure all company vehicles are clean, tidy, refueled, and properly accounted for each evening so they are ready for the morning crew.
  • Delivery Support: Hit the road for field deliveries, transporting materials and equipment directly to active jobsites as needed.
  • Assist with Paperwork: Partner with the Project Engineer to assist with physical document preparation for upcoming projects.
Who You Are
  • Detail-Oriented and Organized: You're the kind of person who catches missing tools and materials, lives by an organized checklist, and takes pride in finishing things thoroughly and on time.
  • Team-Centered: You understand that your work directly impacts the safety and efficiency of the field crews. You collaborate, adjust, and step in where needed.
  • Adaptable: You like a solid routine, but you can pivot with grace when a jobsite suddenly needs a last-minute material delivery.
  • Process-Minded: You appreciate structured systems, whether that's a strict inventory count or a spotless evening clean-up routine.
What You Bring
  • Experience in warehouse support, inventory coordination, or general administrative/labor roles (bonus points for familiarity with the construction or trades world - but not required).
  • A reliable, proactive demeanor and a clean driving record for supporting fleet needs.
  • Excellent physical stamina for loading, unloading, restocking, and keeping a physical workspace tidy.
What Ecotech Solar Offers
  • Hourly wage starting at $20/hr DOE
  • Health, vision, and dental insurance
  • Paid holidays and vacation
  • Generous 401k match
  • Employee Giving Match
  • A collaborative, people-first work culture
  • Work you can feel proud of, every day
