Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of DevOps including development, QA, automation, and culture
  • Assist team members with building, hosting, and deploying cloud-based applications
  • Collaborate with team members to define architecture and optimize performance
  • Oversee migration of remaining internally-hosted applications to AWS
  • Lead technical evaluation of new technologies and tools
  • Serve as a liaison between DevOps teams, senior leadership team, and vendors
  • Build a culture of learning where it's safe to fail, fail fast, learn from it, and improve

Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or related field and 10+ years experience
  • Extensive experience of Linux administration, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Strong programming ability in at least one scripting language (Python, Ruby, etc)
  • 5+ years experience with a major orchestration technology (Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc)
  • 3+ years experience with Amazon Web Services
  • Strong faith in Jesus Christ
  • Championing Seed Company's Core Values, Mission and Vision
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership as well as management or supervision
