Key job responsibilities
1. Act as a technical leader on the team and influence key technical strategies.
2. Simplify existing systems (e.g. by consolidating redundant systems, deleting unnecessary code, or removing/updating out of date documentation)
3. Lead large projects that require the work of a team, dividing software projects into parallel workstreams that can be delivered independently and unified into cohesive launches.
4. Drive mindful discussions with customers and peers and lead them to towards a bold vision.
5. Take ownership of team architecture, providing a system-wide view and design guidance.
6. Make appropriate architectural trade-offs and deliver innovative, secure, easily maintainable, appropriately scalable and extensible solutions.
7. Drive engineering best practices (e.g., Operational Excellence, Security, Quality, etc.) and set standards
8. Actively recruit and help others leverage your expertise, by coaching and mentoring in our organization.
A day in the life
You will work with product owners, technical program managers, privacy experts, engineering managers and engineers (including Sr. Principal) to ideate, design, plan, build and release privacy products that not only meet today's compliance needs, but are extensible in ways that simplify ongoing regulatory compliance efforts, moving toward zero-touch compliance for builders.
