Role

The position of the Brand Graphic Designer will be responsible for creating and maintaining visually compelling product listings and stories on Amazon Seller Central. This role involves close collaboration with brand managers and ppc specialists to enhance the client's Amazon presence and drive sales.

Responsibilities

Product Listing and Story Development

  • Amazon Product Image Creation: Design and produce high-converting, visually appealing product images that adhere to Amazon's specifications, style guides, and best practices. This includes white background, infographics, lifestyle image compositing, and basic product photography. 

  • Amazon Enhanced Content Development: Design visually rich modules and layouts for Amazon Enhanced Brand Content (A+ Detail, Premium A+ Content, and Brand Story) and Amazon Storefronts, translating brand stories and product information into compelling visual narratives. 

  • Listing Optimization: Conduct targeted keyword research using industry-specific tools such as Helium10 to identify high-value search terms relevant to client products. Write clear, concise, benefit-driven, and SEO-optimized copy for Amazon listing titles, bullet points, and back-end keywords. This blend of design and SEO copywriting reflects the integrated approach necessary for success within the Amazon ecosystem.  

  • Support the development of visually appealing and SEO-optimized product listings on Amazon Seller Central, ensuring consistency and accuracy.

  • Story Development: Assist in crafting engaging and compelling product stories that enhance customer experience and drive sales.

  • Brand Consistency: Uphold and maintain consistent brand identity, tone, and messaging across all visual and written materials created for each assigned client.

  • Project Management: Efficiently manage multiple design and copywriting projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards. Organize project files systematically and track progress effectively in a fast-paced startup environment, potentially contributing to the refinement of creative workflows.


Collaboration and Communication

  • Collaboration: Work with in-office and remote employees to produce cohesive and effective content. Provide feedback and guidance to ensure all content meets brand standards.

  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with brand managers and brand partners to make necessary content changes.

Optimization and Research

  • Helium10 Utilization: Use Helium10 to conduct keyword research, track product performance, and optimize listings for better visibility and sales.

  • New Brand/Product Research: Conduct research on new brands and products to enhance listings and content.

Organizational and Administrative Tasks

  • Google Workspace Tools: Utilize Google Workspace (formerly G Suite) for project management, communication, and collaboration with remote team members.

  • Content Organization: Create and organize content folders, prepare and edit content templates.

  • Support both variation and non-variation listings on Amazon and Walmart, including handling Amazon catalog and brand registry case work. 

  • Play a pivotal role in adding and optimizing Walmart listings, ensuring they capitalize on growth opportunities. 

  • Utilize Amazon's Manage My Experiments feature to conduct A/B testing on content updates, working closely with the Brand Content team to optimize listing performance. 

  • Implement keyword strategies to enhance product discoverability and maximize visibility on Amazon and Walmart.

  • Stay updated on platform policies, guidelines, and industry trends to ensure all listings are compliant and competitive. 

  • Monitor Content Submissions: Submit and monitor content submissions for approval.

Meetings and Follow-Ups

  • Meetings with Brands: Prepare for and participate in meetings with brand partners, creating content as needed.

  • Follow-Up Tasks: Assist in follow-up tasks after meetings to ensure all action items are addressed.

  • Webinars/Training: Participate in webinars and training sessions.

Audits and Flexibility

  • Perform Brand Content Audits: Regularly review and audit brand content to ensure consistency and quality.

  • Flex Time/Additional Responsibilities: Handle additional responsibilities as needed, providing flexibility in tasks.

Requirements

  • Proven Design Experience: A minimum of 2 years of professional graphic design experience is required

  • Strong Portfolio: A compelling portfolio displaying high-quality work with a clear emphasis on e-commerce projects. 

  • Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiarity with other tools, such as InDesign, is beneficial. 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience. 

  • Helium10 Proficiency: Hands-on experience with the Helium10 program for keyword research, listing optimization, and performance tracking.

  • Photography & Editing Skills: Basic product photography skills and photo editing, retouching is a plus. 

  • Amazon Seller Central Expertise: Deep understanding of Amazon Seller Central, including best practices for creating and managing product listings.

  • Google Workspace Proficiency: Experience using Google Workspace tools for document creation, project management, and communication.

  • On-Site Presence: Ability to work on-site while coordinating effectively with a remote team.

  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work, ensuring all listings are free of errors and aligned with brand guidelines.

  • Creative Problem Solving: Ability to think creatively and strategically to develop innovative solutions that enhance product listings and increase sales.

Preferred Requirements

  • e-commerce Experience: Previous experience in the e-commerce industry, specifically with Amazon.
