Multiple Positions Available:
Conceptualize and design innovative consumer products, driving key aspects of product definition, execution, and testing. Perform test validation on next-generation devices, identifying and validating product risks, and working with design teams to mitigate them. Define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability, including experimental design and execution. Perform reliability prediction of failure mechanisms, products under development, and products in the field. Utilize MATLAB-based software environments to create new test systems, including algorithm development, equipment calibration methods, instrument I/O, and automated measurements.
(40 hours / week, 8:00am-5:00pm, Salary Range $135700 - $183600)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Material Science, or a related field, and one year of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Material Science, or a related field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation as equivalent to the Master's degree and one year of experience. One year of experience in performing reliability engineering for consumer electronics, utilizing reliability statistics or tests, and demonstrating an understanding of consumer electronics to influence design for reliability. One year of experience using MATLAB, with skills in image processing, camera experience, and performing data collection and analysis. One year of experience in experimental design and execution skills, with the ability to define test methodology and test coverage to assure product reliability. One year of experience identifying and validating product risks, and working collaboratively with design teams to mitigate them.
