Job description

The Paid Media Marketing Manager sits within the Channel Strategy & Automation team within Amazon Ads Marketing. We are seeking a versatile, data-driven paid media marketing manager who can operate at both the strategic and executional level to drive brand, and performance marketing objectives through paid media globally. As AI-powered search, recommendation engines, and agent-mediated experiences reshape how customers discover and engage with brands, the traditional paid media playbook is evolving in real time.

This role will help write the next chapter: establishing how paid amplification drives visibility not just with human audiences but within the AI systems that increasingly influence customer decisions. You'll own paid media planning, optimization, and operations for a variety of high-profile campaigns - partnering with teams across the Amazon Ads organization to create campaigns tied to business objectives, manage agency relationships, optimize spend, and measure results.
This role is both strategic and hands-on.

You'll bring a point of view on how paid media needs to evolve as the landscape shifts, while also going deep into the work - optimizing campaigns, executing directly in-platform when speed or scale demands it, finding trends, testing emerging formats, and pushing into new territory where paid media intersects with AI-driven discovery. You'll build on established best practices while helping define new ones where the rules are still being written.
The ideal candidate has deep experience in paid media and the intellectual curiosity to push that expertise into uncharted territory.

They know how to scale new ideas, infuse creativity, and test (and test!) to drive results in both proven and emerging environments. Leveraging their proven creative, analytical, and project management capabilities, they will partner with stakeholders to imagine, plan, implement, and optimize compelling campaigns that drive business results - while helping shape what paid media means for a brand navigating a fundamentally shifting landscape.
Key job responsibilities
Define and execute the paid media strategy for Amazon Ads marketing objectives.

Partner with Amazon Ads marketing teams as a paid media subject matter expert, aligning business goals with planning and execution.
Manage and drive a learning agenda and measurement approach
Maintain a complete planning schedule, and make it constantly visible to leadership and stakeholders.
Develop KPIs and uncover channel insights to benchmark expectations and goals and inform ongoing optmization and investment decisions.

Build reporting to analyze campaign performance and downstream business impact and optimize against key performance metrics. Present findings to business leaders.
Serve as the primary liaison between our media agency and internal stakeholders, translating business objectives and brief inputs into actionable media plans and ensuring agency deliverables meet strategic and executional standards
Keep a pulse on current paid media trends to identify new opportunities for our paid campaigns .
