About Our Family

We are a dynamic and close-knit family of three who are always on the go with lives full of work, school, sports, and activities. One parent is away frequently for work, and the other is home full-time managing the household and supporting our 11-year-old daughter's demanding athletic training schedule. We cherish our time together, so we're looking for someone who can help streamline the daily backlog and bring some much-needed order to our busy lives.

Things tend to get especially hectic during work travel when one parent is away for multiple days each week, leaving the other to juggle most household duties. On top of our busy schedules, we've been in a multi-year home renovation that is finally winding down, and we need support in resetting and reorganizing our home. This is where you come in - we're seeking someone who can become an integral part of our family by managing day-to-day household operations and creating systems that bring structure and support. We'd also love to bring more consistency to meal planning, laundry, errands, home organization, and other tasks that often slip through the cracks when life gets overwhelming.

Our family values fun, connection, and inclusivity, and we're hoping to find someone who will naturally fit into our rhythm. Fitness and nutrition are core values in our home, and we value spaces where everyone feels respected, comfortable, and free to be themselves. Ultimately, we want someone who can help make our vision a reality by keeping our home running smoothly, allowing us to focus on what truly matters: reducing the mental load and spending quality time together.

Who You Are / What We're Looking For

You are someone who walks into a space and immediately sees what needs to be done. You're highly detail-oriented and proactive - you notice when the pantry is getting low, when something is out of place, and when a system needs to be built where there isn't one yet. You take ownership and pride in your work and don't need constant feedback or praise to stay motivated. You're a self-starter who can manage up: you communicate proactively, flag issues before they become problems, and follow through without being chased.

You're warm and engaging with a grounding presence, but also know how to read the room. You're flexible, collaborative, and willing to grow alongside our family as we figure out what great household support looks like for the first time.

We value good communication and seek someone who can work collaboratively with our family. You don't shy away from jumping in when things get hectic, especially when one parent is traveling or when the day-to-day needs of a busy family start to pile up. You take initiative and work well autonomously, always making life easier for everyone in the family. A sense of humor and flexibility are key to making this a great fit!

We'd love someone who shares our values surrounding fitness and health. Familiarity with creating nutritious meals - especially workout snacks for our daughter - while still keeping things fun, flavorful, and family-friendly is a big plus. With busy school, sports, and social schedules, knowing that we have healthy, nutrient-dense meals at home would bring a huge sense of relief.

With our daughter, you are playful, creative, and present. You prioritize outdoor activities, creative projects, and hands-on engagement. Screen time is not part of the picture when you're with her.

We ultimately want someone who can step into our home as a reliable, long-term partner. If you're proactive, flexible, and love the idea of being part of a fun, busy family while helping to keep things running smoothly, you'll fit right in with us!
