Job description

Amazon Leo is Amazon's low Earth orbit satellite network. Our mission is to deliver fast, reliable broadband connectivity to customers beyond the reach of existing networks. From households to small businesses, schools, hospitals, and government agencies, Amazon Leo will serve communities and organizations operating in places without dependable internet access.
The Senior Product Manager - Technical will be at the forefront of defining the developer experience strategy, development of sandbox environments, and automation of documentation to accelerate timing and improve the overall experience of customer onboarding


This Sr. PM-T will develop a common vision and scope, establish timelines, and drive system readiness for launching Leo services. The role will work in partnership with Leo Engineering, AWS, and Amazon teams to execute the plan.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate plays the role of a business liaison, product and technology leader, and own the delivery of systems across the end to end customer journey:
Own and drive key input metrics to measure developer experience success; establish baselines and track CX impact over time
Author PR/FAQs for new developer experience capabilities; define product requirements and make tradeoff decisions with senior engineering leaders
Conduct direct developer observation sessions to identify unarticulated needs; translate insights into product direction changes distinct from explicit customer requests
Lead large, global, and complex technology initiatives cross-functionally with Leo Engineering, AWS, and Amazon teams
Provide visibility and clear communication to senior leadership through business reviews and operating plans
Own end-to-end system readiness and post-launch iteration to scale globally and deliver the best customer experiences
Build mechanisms to simplify and continuously innovate in an ambiguous, greenfield environment
