Job description

The Global Series Delivery team at Amazon MGM Studios is the connective tissue between post-production and global distribution - ensuring every frame meets the highest technical standards before it reaches audiences worldwide.
As a Delivery Manager on the Global Series Delivery team, you'll own the end-to-end delivery pipeline for Amazon MGM Studios' series - originals, co-productions, and acquisitions - managing schedules, technical specs, and QC from locked cut through launch.
This isn't a "set it and forget it" role. You'll partner directly with Post Production, Localization, and Marketing teams, making smart trade-offs when timelines get tight and finding creative solutions to keep projects moving.
We're looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-stakes environments, communicates with confidence across creative and executive teams, and is energized by increasing scope and responsibility.
Key job responsibilities
• Own the full delivery lifecycle for assigned series - from locked cut stage through final QC, and archival - ensuring every deadline is met
• Audit post-production deliverables throughout all phases, ensuring assets conform to technical specifications and naming conventions, while tracking down missing or non-conforming materials.
• Negotiate delivery schedules and manage vendor relationships with external/internal partners, holding all parties accountable to timelines and quality standards.
• Partner cross-functionally with Distribution, Post Production, Localization, Marketing, and Media Services to drive initiatives and align priorities.
• Surface risks early and remove blockers - escalating technical or operational issues before they threaten release windows and proposing actionable trade-offs.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, SOPs, and workflow guides to support team scalability and knowledge transfer.
• Drive process innovation by exploring new technologies and championing AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and visibility - while shaping delivery specifications to keep pace with evolving formats and platform requirements.
A day in the life
On any given day, you'll be managing multiple series in parallel - each at a different stage of the delivery pipeline. The pace is fast, the stakes are high, and no two days look the same.
As our content slate grows, so does this role: you'll have the opportunity to shape how delivery works at scale and grow your scope alongside the studio.
About the team
Amazon MGM Studios is the content development and production arm of Amazon.com. We make and deliver Amazon Originals content for Amazon Prime and various other customers. Over the past 5 years, we have debuted award-winning and ground-breaking content like The Boys, Fallout, Mr. and Mrs. Smith, Air, and The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
The Studio Content Services team covers post production delivery, archive, and distribution of series and movies globally.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of episodic and film workflows technical experience
- 5+ years of coordination, project management, asset operations or post delivery experience
- Experience in vendor management
- Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner
- Knowledge of digital video landscape, including solid understanding of digital video distribution technologies
- Proficiency with project management and productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Airtable, or similar)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience tools for automation (building, testing, releasing or monitoring)
- Experience in studio or production company assistant
- Experience with Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, UHD HDR/SDR, IMF and film workflows
