SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Production Tean Lead is responsible for assisting the Manufacturing Leader with the overall operation of the production lines on second shift in accordance with all operating standards. Preferred candidates will have excellent communication skills in both English & Spanish and possess a powerful desire to grow and succeed with the company. Thus, we require a bilingual individual for this role. This person will work from our Lebanon, IN location. Local candidates only. No recruiters please.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Production Team Lead on second shift is responsible for aiding the Manufacturing Leader in overseeing the smooth operation of production, in all aspects, ensuring that employees produce high quality food products in accordance with our company’s quality assurance standards. 

Preferred candidates will have excellent work ethics, great leadership skills, and exemplary communication skills with a powerful desire to grow and succeed within the company.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

· With the support of the Production Supervisor, they help to ensure the efficient operation of the cereal and snack mix lines to meet productivity & quality goals.

· Helps to coordinate production and assist in the assigning of work activities to team members.

· Conduct regular audits of QA documentation to ensure accuracy & completion.

· Monitor equipment down time and document reasons, while collaborating with operators & maintenance to provide solutions.

· Enforces Plant GMP’s and addresses GMP violations where appropriate.

· Facilitates regular team communication across all shifts.

· Reports on issues with safety, quality, and productivity in a timely manner.

· Completes all required documentation and assists in the reporting of shift performance.

· Helps identify and support continuous improvement efforts with the Manufacturing Leader.

SCHEDULE

· Monday through Thursday, 3:15PM to 12:30 AM.

Management will communicate any overtime hours within 24 hours at minimum, in advance, and as needed.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS

· Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Must have a valid driver’s license.

· Must have an excellent work ethic, excelling in dependability and diligence.

· Must be able to work productively with minimal supervision.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and management.

· Must have basic math skills and be able to read and write in English.

· Spanish speaking candidates are highly preferred.

· Experience with Google Drive and spreadsheets preferred.

· Previous food production experience preferred but not required.
