We invent new improvements every day. We are Amazon Robotics and we will give you the tools and support you need to invent with us in ways that are rewarding, fulfilling and fun.
The AR Sortation Solutions Design Team is searching for an innovative and solutions-oriented engineer to design next-generation automated sortation systems for Amazon Fulfillment Centers (FCs), Sort Centers (SCs), and Amazon Logistics (AMZL). • Partner with systems engineering and operations teams to optimize deployed solution performance.
• Lead multiple concurrent projects while coordinating with internal teams, external partners, contractors, and vendors.
• Build simulation models and conduct throughput analyses to validate solution feasibility and solve complex integration challenges and tradeoffs.
• Drive technical design projects from concept through implementation, understanding system-of-systems interactions across robotics, MHE, and facility infrastructure.
• Define solution requirements and drive them to product teams, ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders through all design phases from initial design and systems integration through construction and startup.
• Work with product management and systems engineering to develop next-generation features that enhance solution performance.
• Travel up to 15% to sites in the US, Canada, and EU.
