Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated Sr. Solutions Architect to help accelerate our growing Global Defense Partners business.
As a Sr. Solutions Architect within AWS, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to advance our customer's mission through the use of AWS services (e.g

Amazon EC2, Amazon S3, Amazon RDS, HPC, Amazon Bedrock etc.) directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting and technology partners. You will accomplish this as part of a cross-functional team working together in support of the federal missions, with strong sense of building art of possible proof of concepts (PoCs) to solve customer's problems.
The Solutions Architects on our team provide exceptional technical design and thought leadership to the Federal Government markets while working with a sales and business development team. They lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge among the AWS solution architect community

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance.
Key job responsibilities
-Owning the technical engagement and technical strategy with our customers.
-Building art of possible proof of concepts (PoCs) to solve customer's problems.
-Defining implementation architectures, responding to RFPs, developing a deep expertise both in AWS technologies, as well as the customer mission space.
