In this role you will build the user interfaces for Ford's commercial and fleet software products, working on a multi-skilled engineering team that practices pair programming and Test Driven Development, deploys to the cloud, and integrates with Ford enterprise systems.
You'll have...
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
- 12 years of experience with Object-oriented development languages, such as but not limited to:
- 5+ years of experience in Modern databases (Relational and non-relational) with preference for MongoDB
- 5+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
- 5+ years of experience in working in Xtreme Programming Principles including pair programming, Test Driven Development etc.
- Familiarity with debugging problems using appropriate tools.
- 5+ years of Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as: (Jenkins, Terraform) with preference for Tekton
- Experience with end-to-end testing tools.
Even better, you may have...
- Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles
- Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
- Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTFUL Web services development
- Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling and data analysis is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience with Jira, backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools
- Highly effective in working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business partners.
- Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including JMeter, newman.
- Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment.
- Understanding of fundamental data modeling

This position is a salary grade 8.
$115,000 - $192,900
