In this role you will build the user interfaces for Ford's commercial and fleet software products, working on a multi-skilled engineering team that practices pair programming and Test Driven Development, deploys to the cloud, and integrates with Ford enterprise systems.

You'll have...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
• 12 years of experience with Object-oriented development languages, such as but not limited to:
  • Java
  • Kotlin
  • Python
  • C#
• 5+ years of experience in Modern databases (Relational and non-relational) with preference for MongoDB
• 5+ years of experience developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure
• 5+ years of experience in working in Xtreme Programming Principles including pair programming, Test Driven Development etc.
• Familiarity with debugging problems using appropriate tools.
• 5+ years of Continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and pipelines, such as: (Jenkins, Terraform) with preference for Tekton
• Experience with end-to-end testing tools.

Even better, you may have...

• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Design Principles
• Experience with developing and deploying to cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, and Microsoft Azure
• Experience with Spring/SpringBoot and RESTFUL Web services development
• Experience with machine learning, mathematical modeling and data analysis is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with Jira, backlogs, iterations, user stories, or similar Agile Tools
• Highly effective in working with other technical specialists, Product Managers, UI/UX Designers and business partners.
• Knowledge of performance testing frameworks including JMeter, newman.
• Passion for learning and willingness to work in a pair programming environment.
• Understanding of fundamental data modeling

This position is a salary grade 8.

$115,000 - $192,900
