Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Software Development Engineer in Irving, TX.
Duties Include:
* Design, develop, and maintain integrations between internal systems and third-party applications, platforms, and services
* Build and support APIs, data interfaces, and automated workflows to facilitate the exchange and processing of business-critical information
* Develop user-friendly tools and solutions that improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data security, governance, system reliability, and adherence to organizational standards
* Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, well-documented, and maintainable solutions
* Implement and support data validation, monitoring, and troubleshooting processes to ensure high-quality system performance
* Leverage modern development tools and technologies to enhance productivity and accelerate solution delivery
REQUIREMENTS:
* 3+ years of experience developing backend applications, services, or APIs using languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, C#, or similar
* Knowledge of database technologies, data processing, and data integration concepts
* Familiarity with software development best practices, including testing, deployment, and version control
* Understanding of security, authentication, and access management concepts
* Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
