We are seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic Remote Customer Service Intake Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for incoming patient, provider, and member inquiries. Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Answer incoming calls and digital communications from patients, healthcare providers, and health plans.

  • Collect and input accurate patient demographic, clinical, and insurance coverage information into the intake database.

  • Assist callers with eligibility verification, service authorization inquiries, and general intake processing.

  • Review incoming healthcare requests to ensure all required documentation and medical records are complete.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or college coursework preferred.

  • Minimum 1 to 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, managed care, or insurance environment.

  • Must physically reside in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, or Delaware.

  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and health insurance intake procedures is a plus.
