Position Summary

The Vice President of E-Retail & Marketplaces will be strategically responsible for driving growth, maximizing sales, and managing day-to-day operations across our key commercial retail channels: Amazon, Walmart, Macy's, Mercado Libre, and TikTok Shop. This hands-on leadership role requires a deeply analytical, growth-oriented professional who can seamlessly navigate the distinct ecosystems of pure-play e-tailers, traditional brick-and-mortar digital extensions, international marketplaces, and social commerce platforms.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling revenue, managing digital advertising budgets, optimizing digital shelf health, capitalizing on social shopping trends, and negotiating collaborative planning, forecasting, and replenishment (CPFR) strategies with major retail platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Amazon Account Management & Growth
  • Oversee the end-to-end operational and commercial performance of the Amazon marketplace channel (Vendor Central and/or Seller Central).
  • Optimize the digital shelf through high-converting A+ content, strategic SEO keyword implementation, and robust review-generation strategies.
  • Partner with internal or external agency teams to manage Amazon Advertising (SP, SB, SD, and DSP), optimizing ROAS and TACOS against strict efficiency targets.
  • Monitor buy-box ownership, inventory health, unauthorized third-party (3P) sellers, and chargeback mitigation.
  • Promotional & Pricing Strategy: Own the promotional calendar for high-traffic events, including Prime Day, Black Friday/Cyber Monday, and seasonal events; strategically manage Amazon Deals (Lightning Deals, 7-Day Deals, Coupons) and algorithmic pricing to maximize volume while protecting brand margin.
  1. TikTok Shop & Social Commerce Execution
  • Own the end-to-end operational strategy, commercial performance, and growth of TikTok Shop across the brand portfolio.
  • Develop social commerce playbooks integrating live shopping, affiliate influencer networks, creator partnerships, and shoppable short-form video content to drive impulse conversion and GMV.
  • Oversee store setup, inventory integration, campaign execution, and fulfillment via FBT (Fulfilled by TikTok) or direct merchant fulfillment models.
  • Leverage TikTok Shop Ads and creative analytics to scale performance, optimize customer acquisition costs (CAC), and maximize ROAS.
  • Collaborate closely with social media, brand marketing, and influencer management teams to ensure brand alignment and viral product promotion.
  1. Walmart Marketplace & WFS Expansion
  • Drive omni-channel growth across Walmart.com, managing both 1P (retail) and 3P (Walmart Fulfillment Services - WFS) relationships.
  • Execute strategic item setup, variant grouping, and content optimization tailored to the Walmart search algorithm.
  • Manage Walmart Connect advertising campaigns to boost product visibility and category share-of-voice.
  • Collaborate with retail buyers to align online promotional strategies with in-store initiatives.
  1. Macy's & Department Store Digital Strategy
  • Lead the ecommerce growth strategy for Macy's digital platform (Vendor Portal / Direct-to-Consumer drop-ship models).
  • Coordinate with Macy's merchant teams to plan exclusive digital assortments, online promotions, and seasonal digital catalog updates.
  • Ensure brand presentation and product listings match premium department store standards, focusing on high-quality imagery and detailed product copy.
  • Coordinate with Macy's Media Network (MMN) on co-op opportunities and media placement opportunities across all our portfolio of brands.
  1. Mercado Libre Strategy & LATAM Licensee Management
  • Centralized Strategy & Brand Governance: Architect and own the overarching Mercado Libre marketplace strategy for the entire brand portfolio, establishing standardized brand guidelines, pricing frameworks, and digital shelf benchmarks.
  • Primary Platform Liaison: Serve as the central point of contact with Mercado Libre leadership and account managers, negotiating enterprise opportunities, platform tools, and regional promotional participation.
  • Licensee Collaboration & Cascade: Dilute corporate strategy down to regional licensees across Latin America (LATAM), translating high-level business goals into actionable execution plans tailored to local market nuances.
  • Merchandising & Growth Enablement: Partner directly with LATAM licensees to optimize product assortments, improve listing quality, refine inventory replenishment, and execute high-converting digital promotional calendars.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance metrics for the region, auditing licensee storefronts regularly to ensure strict alignment with global brand equity and operational excellence standards.
  1. Cross-Functional Operations & Analytics
  • Forecasting & Inventory: Partner with the Planning Division and Finance teams to provide highly accurate demand forecasts, ensuring healthy inventory weeks-of-supply (WOS) across all fulfillment centers.
  • P&L Ownership: Manage the ecommerce budget, track platform margins, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including GMV, Net Sales, Conversion Rate, CAC, and LTV.
  • Market Analysis: Keep a pulse on competitor actions, emerging platform features, and shifting consumer shopping behaviors to pivot strategies quickly.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: 10+ years of dedicated ecommerce management experience, with a minimum of 4 years specifically owning business results for Amazon, Walmart.com, Mercado Libre, TikTok Shop, or major department store digital channels (like Macy's).
