Job Description
Scanlon Operations Group X LLC is seeking reliable, hardworking, and team-oriented Full-Time Delivery Drivers to deliver Amazon packages to customers throughout the local area. Successful Delivery Drivers enjoy being on the road, prioritize safety, and are committed to providing excellent customer service. This Delivery Driver position is a fast-paced role for motivated individuals who are ready to grow with the Company.
As a Delivery Driver, you will safely operate a Company-provided delivery vehicle, complete assigned delivery routes, and ensure packages are delivered accurately and on time. Delivery Drivers are expected to maintain a high level of professionalism while representing the Company and serving customers.
Benefits & Scheduling
• $21.50 per hour, paid weekly
• Typical 10-hour shifts
• 3- or 4-day workweek (35 hours typical)
Front Half (FH): Sunday-Wednesday (rotating Wednesdays)
Back Half (BH): Wednesday-Saturday (rotating Wednesdays)
• Must work at least one weekend day
• Daytime shift
• Paid breaks: two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute unpaid meal break
• Performance incentives and bonuses available
• Medical insurance (eligibility requires an average of 30+ hours per week)
• Paid time off begins accruing immediately
• 401(k)
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Safely handle and deliver packages on time as a Delivery Driver
• Perform safety inspections and operate Company delivery vehicles responsibly
• Adhere to all local, state, and Company driving regulations and policies
• Provide excellent customer service, even in stressful situations
• Perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions
• Frequently lift packages up to 50 pounds
• Repeatedly enter and exit the delivery vehicle
• Communicate effectively with the support team
• Use a smart device for GPS navigation, package scanning, timekeeping, and communication
• Load and unload delivery vehicles
• Assist team members with route support and rescue deliveries as needed
Qualifications
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must possess a valid, non-provisional, unrestricted driver's license
Must obtain a Missouri Class E driver's license before beginning training (applicants may apply and be hired before obtaining it)
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must have a satisfactory motor vehicle record; multiple or serious violations may disqualify applicants
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift, carry, and move packages weighing up to 50 pounds
• Commercial, DOT, or CDL driving experience is a plus, but not required
• Previous delivery driver, courier, transportation, logistics, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
