What is an Amazon PPC Remote job?

An Amazon PPC Remote job involves managing pay-per-click (PPC) advertising campaigns for products sold on Amazon while working remotely. Responsibilities typically include researching keywords, optimizing ad campaigns, analyzing performance data, and adjusting bids to maximize return on investment (ROI). This role requires expertise in Amazon Advertising, campaign management, and data analysis to drive sales effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Amazon Ppc Remote position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an Amazon PPC Remote specialist, you need strong analytical skills, experience with digital marketing strategies, and a proven track record in Amazon advertising campaigns. Familiarity with PPC management tools such as Amazon Advertising Console, Helium 10, or Sellics, along with relevant certifications like Amazon Advertising Certification, is highly valued. Excellent communication, time management, and self-motivation are important soft skills for overcoming challenges while working independently. Mastery of these skills ensures effective campaign performance, maximizes return on ad spend, and supports successful remote collaboration with clients or teams.

What are some common challenges faced by remote Amazon PPC specialists, and how are they addressed?

Remote Amazon PPC specialists often face challenges such as maintaining clear communication across geographically dispersed teams, staying updated with frequent changes in Amazon's advertising platform, and managing multiple campaigns simultaneously. These challenges are typically addressed by using project management tools (like Asana or Trello) to track progress, scheduling regular video meetings for alignment, and continuous learning to keep up with platform updates. As a remote worker, being proactive and organized is key to ensuring campaign goals are met and that you remain a valuable contributor to the marketing team.

Description
Company Overview
AdCellerant is an award-winning tech-enabled services company that has brought Madison Avenue-level digital marketing solutions to Main Street businesses since 2013. We help local marketers, media companies, agencies, and channel sales organizations leverage our proprietary advertising software platform, Ui.Marketing.
Summary of Role
As a PPC Specialist at AdCellerant, you will be the strategic engine behind high-impact search and mobile campaigns for a diverse portfolio of SMB advertisers. We are looking for a data-driven optimizer with 1 to 2 years of hands-on Google Ads experience, who brings a team-first mindset to a high-velocity environment. Joining our Search Engine Marketing Team, you'll do more than just monitor budgets; you'll dive deep into bid management, keyword architecture, and ad copy testing to transform advertiser goals into measurable success. The ideal candidate thrives on the challenge of building and scaling numerous accounts simultaneously, takes full accountability for performance, and excels in a fast-paced, collaborative culture where speed and precision go hand-in-hand.
Responsibilities
  • Build, launch, manage, and optimize paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads
  • Develop keyword strategies, ad copy, audience recommendations, and campaign structures based on advertiser goals, budget, location targeting, and business needs
  • Review campaign setup, tracking, budgets, targeting, creative, and landing pages to ensure campaigns are accurate before launch
  • Monitor campaign pacing, spend, performance trends, and delivery issues to help ensure campaigns are managed efficiently and within expected pacing ranges
  • Make campaign and keyword optimization updates based on performance data, SEM best practices, and direction from SEM leadership
  • Analyze campaign performance and recommend changes to improve traffic quality, lead volume, conversion performance, cost efficiency, or advertiser goal achievement
  • Create and review campaign reports, performance summaries, and optimization updates for internal teams and partner-facing communication
  • Complete keyword research, competitive research, search term analysis, and other account reviews to support campaign strategy and performance improvements
  • Work within internal systems, dashboards, and workflows to manage campaign tasks, documentation, pacing checks, and account updates
  • Support campaign QA, troubleshooting, billing alignment, account access needs, tracking issues, and other operational items related to paid search management
  • Collaborate with SEM Managers, Account Management, Sales, Analytics, and other internal teams to support successful campaign execution and partner satisfaction
  • Stay current on paid search platform updates, automation tools, product changes, and best practices that impact campaign performance
  • Support testing and rollout of new paid search products, workflows, campaign types, and internal process improvements as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements
Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of demonstrated experience building, managing, and optimizing paid search campaigns in Google Ads
  • Experience with Microsoft Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, or other paid media and analytics platforms preferred
  • Google Ads certification required or ability to obtain certification within the first 90 days
  • Strong understanding of paid search campaign structure, keyword research, ad copy, bidding strategies, budgets, pacing, and performance optimization
  • Experience reviewing campaign performance and making data-driven recommendations to improve results
  • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills, including the ability to review, organize, and analyze campaign performance data
  • Basic knowledge of website structure, landing pages, tracking, HTML, and CSS preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate with team members across all levels of the organization
  • Prior experience with PPC management platforms, reporting tools, or workflow management systems preferred
  • Agency experience or experience managing multiple advertisers/accounts preferred
