Job description

Summary:

Responsible for picking and processing customer orders in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.

Job Duties:

  • Comply with all hazardous waste regulations
  • Pick, pack & process domestic shipments into PaceJet/Syteline ERP system, as well as using RF Smart for the AX ERP system.
  • Process shipments through UPS and FedEx shipping software/system
  • Ensure customer specified labeling requirements are executed i.e. Amazon, Grainger, DFAS
  • Process ASNs to customers
  • Process hazardous material shipments domestic via DOT, IATA (Air) and IMO (Ocean)
  • Work with Customer Service to resolve issues on customer orders, for shipment requests, samples and ensure special instructions for orders are executed
  • Maintain and file all shipping paperwork ensuring import and export documents are filed in accordance with US Customs regulations.
  • Support warehouse and distribution initiatives.
  • Assist in any special projects.
  • Assists with obtaining of freight quotes for sales requests when required
  • Other duties as assigned or required

Education and Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Some shipping or warehouse experience preferred.
