Job description

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to join ourVoice Developmentteam, supporting T. Rowe Price'simplementation of Amazon Connect.In this role,youwill collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders on design and implementation of AWS Connect related solutions.Working primarilyin AWSand Amazon Connect,you'llarchitectand develop Connect Call Flows and Routing with integrationsutilizingLambda, Lex, DynamoDB, and S3.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders on design and implementation of AWS Connect related solutions.
  • Develop Call Flows and Routing with integrationsutilizingLambda, Lex, DynamoDB, and S3
  • Review code with other developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
  • Write unit tests andparticipatein system/integration testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues.
  • Create andmaintaintechnical documentation for custom solutions and integrations.
  • Provide ongoing support for delivered solutions, addressingbugsand user feedback.
  • Ensure solutionscomply withorganizational security policies and Salesforce platform security guidelines.
  • Communicate technical solutions and project status to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Establish comprehensive logging, monitoring, and observability strategies to ensure platform reliability and performance
  • Drive code quality through architectural review andestablishingtesting strategies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define integration strategies with enterprise systems
  • Stay current with emerging agent frameworks, LLM technologies, and automation patterns, evaluating their applicability to platform needs
  • Share knowledge and provide guidance to team members

Qualifications
Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND 5+ years of total relevant work experience
  • Solid working knowledge of Java or Python for service integrations and microservices development
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (IAM, Lambda, ECS/Fargate, S3, DynamoDB) and cloud architecture patterns
  • Strong experience with Git workflows, branch strategies, and designing CI/CD pipelines
  • Expertisein Docker and containerized development workflows
  • Deep understanding of OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and enterprise identity systems such as ADFS
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement authentication/authorization workflows including token validation and identity federation
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in complex distributed systems environments
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to diverse audiences

Preferred:

  • Experience with emerging LLM frameworks, agent-based systems, or AI/ML platform engineering
  • Experience with Terraform including module development,IaCpatterns, and cloud provisioning strategies
  • Strongproficiencyin Python for building enterprise-scale services, tools, and automation
  • Design authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, OIDC, JWT, and enterprise identity systems (ADFS), including token validation and identity federation
  • Background in platform engineering or developer enablement roles
  • Experienceestablishingobservability practices and implementing monitoring solutions at scale
  • Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-native applications and AI systems
  • Experience with multiple cloud providers or hybrid cloud architectures
  • Contributions to open-source projects or internal tooling communities
  • Experience collaborating on technical initiatives and sharingexpertisewith team members
