Job description

permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Amazon LEO Payload Processing Facility (PPF) is seeking an experienced logistics professional to assist with every day activities listed below in both Florida as well as in French Guiana. This role is expected to travel up to 25% of the time internationally

Successful candidates must also be able to pass the federal security checks to receive an access badge to Kennedy Space Center.
Key job responsibilities
- Write, review, and provide feedback on team-related SOPs related to warehousing and inventory activities at the PPF
- Receive Amazon LEO managed and supplier shipments
- Use proprietary software and ERP systems to virtually receive and manage material
- Execute functional requirements of global trade and transportation management software requirements
- Provide guidance and expertise in logistics related discussions
- Accurately track and account for all inventory located at the PPF warehouse to include cycle counts
- Efficiently deliver material to PPF stakeholders, both physically and virtually
- Coordinate trailer or container movements within the PPF Yard
- Meet operational metrics related to warehouse receiving and inventory activities
- Effectively communicate high priority matters with Transportation leadership
- Shift schedule will vary, depending on production/launch schedules
- Operate equipment including: forklifts, pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, and hand cart
- Standardize warehouse and logistics processes
- Interface with with other teams and stakeholders to design and implement project solutions
- Train employees in standard warehouse tasks using ERP systems
- Role requires up to 25% travel
