Possible 3 Month Contract To Hire | No Fees | Confidential Submit Candidates Under Their Legal Name
Role: Network Development Engineer 2
Work Location: Seattle, WA
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of automation scripting experience using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl.
- 8+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols.
- 5+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing distributed retail networking solutions utilizing L2 and L3 protocols.
- Familiarity with white box networking platforms.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Design new network topologies, test them, and integrate them into existing automation frameworks.
- Provide top-level escalation support for existing networks and installations.
- Identify, develop, and deliver technical solutions that improve the availability of our wired networks.
- Understand customer needs and create technical solutions leveraging wired networking technologies.
- Identify and deliver solutions that reduce operational impact to customers and enable them with scalable, resilient, and cost-optimized solutions.
- Dive deep into complex problems to identify root causes of customer impacts, developing and delivering corrective actions.
