Job description

Come make history as a member of Amazon's Global Entertainment Legal team in Amazon's world-class legal department. We are seeking an exceptional Corporate Counsel to support Amazon Music, Amazon's immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators. From personalized music playlists to exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams to artist merch, Amazon Music is innovating at some of the most exciting intersections of music and culture.
Key job responsibilities
Structuring, drafting, and negotiating complex distribution, development, licensing, production, marketing, and other commercial agreements; and providing ongoing legal counsel across a range of fields, including intellectual property, digital media, and regulatory compliance. Some travel may be required.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- Knowledge of the ethical considerations surrounding AI in the legal context, such as confidentiality, accuracy, and bias prevention
- Experience in private practice or in house experience at a technology company or equivalent
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work
- 6+ years of Technology Law experience
- Deep understanding of consumer law and regulations impacting subscription businesses

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
