Job description

We're on a journey to build something new. Come join our team and build new discovery and shopping products that connect customers with their vehicle of choice. We're looking for a talented Business Intelligence Engineer (BIE) to join the fast growing team.
This high-visibility role will be responsible for supporting local data management, report creation, and strategic analytic needs for our day to day operation and decision making.
A successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and be able to create and maintain automated processes efficiently

They will set the vision, define the roadmap, and work alongside stakeholders across organizations to deliver results. They know and love working with business intelligence tools, can model multidimensional datasets, and can collaborate effectively with business and tech leaders to answer key business questions in a fraction of the time that it takes their peers. This role will have an immediate and lasting impact on both internal and external customers, and provides a unique opportunity to impact Amazon's Advertising and Retail business.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with stakeholders: Gather requirements and deliver end-to-end BI solutions (dashboards, data models, reporting) that address key business needs.
Build scalable data solutions: Design and maintain ETL pipelines and data models using SQL and scripting languages to integrate data from multiple sources (e.g., Redshift, Oracle).
Insights & decision support: Analyze performance trends, identify key drivers, and deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations to inform strategy and planning.
Ensure data quality & rigor: Apply best practices in data integrity, validation, experiment design, and documentation to maintain a trusted data source.
Innovate with data & AI: Evaluate and implement new data technologies and AI-driven approaches to automate insights and improve decision-making efficiency.

This role supports the Ads Autos strategic finance and business leadership teams to drive informed decision making.
You will support the Ads Autos Store with robust data needs that span various business domains which are all related to a new line of business for Amazon
Our team supports multiple reporting mechanisms, including development of systems on AWS, micro services, and pipelines
