This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.
Global Strategic Partner (GSP) Sales serves some of the largest strategic partners to AWS within the AWS Specialist and Partner (ASP) Organization. The WW Sales Strategy and Acceleration Leader oversees strategy development and its impact and revenue realization across this multi-billion-dollar portfolio. We serve these partners as customers, leading the transformation agenda at a global scale with technology-enabled strategy, new lines of business collaboration, and market-shaping solutions. This role is responsible for the definition and landing of strategy, spearheading of key business development motions at executive levels across the customer/partner/and Amazon landscape, and operational enablement and evolution of the organization.
This role leads a team of business management and data experts supporting the GSP Sales global agenda. A servant-leader people management skill is critical for the success of this role. This role is standard bearer of high-performance leadership and Amazon Leadership Principles. Further, this role serves as evangelist to top leadership across GSP Sales' partner portfolio and throughout Amazon.
Key job responsibilities
Reporting to the WW Director of Global Sales, the Sr. Mgr, WW Sales Strategy & Acceleration will be responsible for strategy development and execution, business development and evangelism, and portfolio business management by:
*Assessing and planning the overall 1-3 year trajectory of the business, driving collaboration across multiple channels to ensure world-class strategy and associated plays and initiatives
*Ensuring the capture and review of signals and patterns in the business as input into revenue driving activities
*Overseeing the monthly / quarterly / yearly planning cycles
*Advocating across Amazon organizations for the partner as customer and investor in shaping programs, investments, and more
*Developing high-impact thought leadership and representing GSP Sales in executive client meetings, conferences, and more
*Overseeing the overall Rhythm of Business ensuring that the strategic direction is realized and or adjusted to meet the needs of our customers
*Embodying superb communication, stakeholder-relationship skills, analytic insight, and passionate advocacy for our customers and our team
*Leading and developing a team of business management professionals to continually drive improvements in reporting and mechanisms
*Ensuring the proper functioning of operational revenue recognition and compensation mechanisms.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
- Knowledge of distribution networks and channel P&Ls
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
- Experience negotiating VP-level contracts with channel partners and agencies
- 5+ years experience in a similar role (chief of staff, revenue operations, sales operations)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience
- Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, Customer Service, Operations, Legal, Finance, and Senior Leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
