Position Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage delivery of physical infrastructure projects, including fiber deployment and ILA infrastructure for long-haul circuits. Interface with key internal stakeholders (e.g., networking, data center engineering, management) to understand technical requirements of engineering teams and drive vendors to adhere to those requirements. Understand technical components for hardware and network connectivity. Determine regional power specifications and grounding requirements. Coordinate with vendors and site inspectors. Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
Position Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation. Must have five years of experience in the following skill(s): (1) negotiating vendor contracts; (2) program management, including budget and resource management; and (3) working with fiber optic technologies. Domestic and/or international travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
