This role is with the Data Ecosystem team which is responsible for building services that customers use to move data into and out of DSQL. This includes Backup & Restore, Point-in-Time Recovery, Change Data Capture (CDC), Bulk Import & Export, Streaming Integrations and Async Data Jobs (DDL, DML). In this role you will have the opportunity to apply your deep understanding of distributed systems architecture and design principles and will be required to identify and analyze complex problems, devise effective solutions and optimize performance and scalability.

The team develops in Rust and uses CDK (Amazon Cloud Development Kit) to define cloud infrastructure.

As you design and code solutions to help our team drive efficiencies in software architecture, you'll create metrics, implement automation and other improvements, and resolve the root cause of software defects
