Marketplaces Manager

Create Wellness, Inc.

New York, NY • On-site

Full-time

Posted 23 days ago

Job description

We're hiring a Marketplaces Manager to be a hands-on, execution-first operator and a true right-hand partner to the Marketplaces Lead.

This role is for someone who:

  • Lives in Amazon Seller Central and knows what it takes to win on the platform
  • Is analytical to the core — obsessed with incrementality, ROAS, and profitable growth
  • Thinks about marketplaces in the context of the full business, not just one channel
  • Is obsessively organized — tracks every moving piece across campaigns, listings, deals, and launches without missing a beat
  • Wants to build something, not just maintain it

You'll own day-to-day Amazon execution in collaboration with the Marketplaces Lead — running PPC, catalog, PDPs, and deals. You’ll have real input into channel strategy and the roadmap, playing a central role in scaling one of our biggest revenue drivers.
Beyond Amazon, you'll own Target.com, Walmart.com, and Instacart end-to-end, while leading expansion into new marketplaces.

What You'll Do

Amazon Strategy & Execution

  • Run PPC end-to-end: performance audits, keyword research, campaign creation, bid/budget/keyword adjustments, and negative-term management
  • Partner with Ops on inbound planning — flag coverage risks (stockouts, Buy Box suppression, velocity shifts) for visibility
  • Optimize PDPs: copy, imagery, A+ content, Brand Store, and Brand Story
  • Manage catalog: listing creation, variations, bundles, and backend attribute audits
  • Own account health and compliance: proactive monitoring, creating and resolving seller support cases, and ensuring policy adherence
  • Monitor pricing and Buy Box integrity across channels and flag suppression risks
  • Schedule and QA deals, Lightning Deals, and tentpole event participation (Prime Day, BFCM, etc.)

Marketplace Ownership & Expansion

  • Own strategy and execution across Target.com, Walmart.com, Instacart, and other marketplaces
  • Drive marketplace expansion by launching, scaling, and optimizing new channels
  • Tailor strategy to each platform — what works on Amazon isn't what works on Instacart

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor spend, sales, ROAS, and inventory flags across all marketplaces
  • Flag anomalies fast: CVR drops, organic rank shifts, stockout risk, Buy Box loss
  • Track organic rank trends on priority keywords (Brand Analytics SQP, Helium 10)
  • Track competitors and overall market movement (search volume, BSR charts, Smart Scout)
  • Proactively surface new tests, tactics, and growth opportunities — not just report on what happened

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience managing marketplaces (Amazon required; Target.com, Walmart.com, and/or Instacart a strong plus)
  • VMS/CPG background or experience in another high-repeat-purchase category
  • Deep Amazon Seller Central expertise across PPC, catalog, PDPs, and account health
  • Fluency with Helium 10, Xnurta, Smart Scout, or similar marketplace tools
  • Strong analytical mindset — focused on incrementality and profitable growth, not vanity metrics
  • Organized and process-oriented — you can manage a lot of moving pieces without dropping any

What We're Looking For

  • You think like an owner, not a coordinator
  • You’re analytical by default — every decision ties back to a number
  • You’re fast, resourceful, and don’t wait to be told what to do
  • You care about profitable growth and real business outcomes, not top-line alone
  • You’re excited to build across multiple marketplaces, not just run one

Nice to Have

  • Agency experience managing marketplace accounts across multiple brands
  • Experience launching a brand on a new marketplace from scratch
  • Familiarity with Shopify and broader DTC ecommerce metrics
  • Background in health, wellness, or sports nutrition
  • Comfort with AI-assisted workflows and productivity tools (we use Claude, ClickUp, Granola)
