Job description

Description:

Town & Country Living is a global leader in home décor, textiles, and design. Our expanded family includes Home Dynamix and Amalgamated Textiles, providing more than 60 years of combined experience in the home décor industry. The combination of all three companies together brings unmatched expertise and excellence in sales, design, development, sourcing, supply chain efficiencies, customer service, and e-commerce fulfillment. With our company’s diverse multi-product assortment across all home categories, we can provide excellent offerings and service to our retail partners while responding quickly to the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Associate, eComm Sales owns day-to-day reporting, item setup, and catalog/pricing execution for a specific group of Amazon and omnichannel accounts (Amazon, Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco, and Sam's Club), reporting to the Director, eComm Sales. The ideal candidate will help plan and execute day-to-day sales-driving initiatives and keep account details, item records, and pricing references current so the business runs off reliable information. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordinating new item setups, maintaining catalog and listing health, and supporting promotional events and funding requests. Clear, consistent communication (written and verbal, internal and with retail partners) is an integral part of this position. Based on experience, the associate has an opportunity to lead a subset of the account portfolio. This is a hybrid role based in New York City with occasional travel for customer meetings and industry trade shows.

Requirements:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Day-to-Day Account Support & Customer Relationship Management

  • Own recurring weekly and monthly sales reporting across assigned accounts, tracking performance against targets so the team can course-correct before quarter close.
  • Monitor items with no weekly selling data and diagnose root causes (e.g., suppressed listings, out-of-stocks, content gaps) so lost sales are recovered quickly.
  • Keep the eCommerce customer list and account-manager mapping current.
  • Prepare monthly business review materials, turning raw customer performance data into a clear read on what is working and what's underperforming.
  • Build close, professional relationships with buying teams and category partners to surface category insights and enable faster resolution of catalog, content, and promotional issues.

Maintain & Optimize eCommerce Catalog Presentation

  • Manage new item setup end-to-end, from creation through launch, coordinating account-level time and action calendars with digital merchandising.
  • Maintain the item setup tracker to deliver cross-functional visibility to the active catalog for each account.
  • Monitor content health and correct gaps in product detail page copy, imagery, and enhanced content.
  • Maintain accurate product cross-references and catalog data across internal systems so pricing and availability stay accurate at every point of sale.
  • Review price vs. sales order/invoice data and flag discrepancies.
  • Complete and submit suppression/inactivation documentation as needed.

Track Promotional Activity

  • Execute against the customer promotional calendar, hitting all submission deadlines so funded events are never forfeited.
  • Maintain the internal promotional activity log so marketing, planning, and operations can properly support committed events.
  • Recap promotional performance and post-event results, flagging opportunities to improve return on promotional spend for the next event.
  • Run cost differential analysis on each funded promotional event and prepare reconciliation findings for manager review, flagging any deductions that don't match agreed terms.

Competitive Market Awareness

  • Perform online competitive shopping assessments to benchmark competitor price, assortment, and content quality, contributing to discussions about account-specific assortment and pricing recommendations.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience

• 1-3+ years in eCommerce, retail sales support, category, or analytics, with wholesale or corporate retail experience preferred

• Detail-oriented, with a strong analytical background and presentation skills

• Self-starter with ability to function independently but also a strong team player, with the ability to prioritize based on business needs

• Ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple accounts simultaneously

• Hands-on experience with retailer vendor portals and item setup / content syndication workflows

• Comfort pulling and interpreting data from retailer reporting platforms (e.g., Amazon Vendor Central, Circana)

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot tables)

• Willingness to learn, accept constructive criticism and adapt quickly

• Clear written, verbal and in-person communication skills, with comfort collaborating across internal teams and external partners

• Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment, with a passion for problem solving

• Experience in extensive consumer product catalogs, preferably soft/home goods

PREFERENCES:

• Experience with digital shelf, site merchandising, advertising and discoverability insights

• Proficient with NetSuite and Trello

• Exposure to marketplace platforms and other retailer portals (e.g., Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe's, Costco)
