Key responsibilities

  • Work the floor every shift by performing picking, packing, wrapping, shipping, and inbound activities while setting the pace and standards.

  • Lead and coach team members, onboard new associates, and provide feedback to ensure safety, quality, and performance targets are met.

  • Troubleshoot operational exceptions, build and improve SOPs, and track key performance metrics to report to site leadership.

Job description

A rare opportunity to build something from day one.

ATLETICA, a German fitness equipment brand, is entering the US market and just opened its brand-new 75,000 sq ft warehouse in Corona, CA. When a company starts fresh in a new market, someone gets the chance to build up the team, define the processes, and set the standards – that chance is worth a lot, and it comes around rarely. We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor, a proven team lead, to take it: you work alongside the team every shift, set the pace, coach your people, and solve problems before they become delays – with that extra responsibility for the processes and the people. You will grow here as ATLETICA scales.

WHO WE ARE

ATLETICA is a German fitness apparel and equipment brand – 120+ employees and over $50 million in annual sales, and one of the top 3 fitness e-commerce companies in the German-speaking market. In 2026 we opened our first U.S. operation: a brand-new 75,000 sq ft warehouse and office in Corona, CA, shipping our home-gym equipment to customers across the United States.

This is a build-it role: the processes and standards don’t exist yet – you create them on the floor, with a direct line to company leadership.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Work the floor every shift: picking, packing, wrapping, shipping, and inbound – you set the pace and hold the standard by working the line with your team

Lead through action: onboard new associates on SOPs, safety, and quality expectations; coach to targets; give direct, respectful feedback and document performance issues when needed

Read volume in real time: match people to order flow, spot constraints early, and fix bottlenecks before they become late shipments

Troubleshoot exceptions hands-on: short picks, mis-slots, label errors – you drive them to resolution in the system, not into a backlog

Build the playbook as you go: turn what works on the floor into simple SOPs for pick/pack/ship, returns, quality, and safety

Help us hire and develop the right people – you know what good looks like, and you help the team get there

Own housekeeping and safety: an OSHA- and California-compliant floor every day, plus continuous improvement of your zones

Track the numbers that matter: on-time ship rate, order accuracy, units per hour – and report them to site leadership

WHAT YOU BRING

• A proven team lead: 3+ years in fulfillment or warehouse operations leading people – you can tell us how big your team was and how many orders a day ran through your responsibility. High-volume operations (Amazon, Walmart, Target, FedEx, or a 3PL) strongly preferred

• A hands-on leader: you’d rather fix it on the floor than write about it from a desk

• Hands-on command of warehouse workflows: receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control

• Comfortable giving direct feedback and holding peers accountable with respect

• Sharp operational judgment – you prioritize on the fly and stay composed during high-volume periods

• You’ve built or improved processes, not just followed them – and can scale big-company standards down to a lean, growing site

• WMS familiarity is a plus (we run NetSuite WMS – we’ll train you); high school diploma or equivalent

• Forklift / reach truck certification and a general safety card (OSHA 10 or 30) are a plus – we certify and train on site

• Able to work onsite in Corona, CA

PAY & BENEFITS

• 26$ to 34$/h, depending on experience

• Medical and dental insurance

• Paid time off (PTO)

• Real ownership: you build the processes, the standards, and the team – from the floor, with no layers between you and the decision-makers

• Ground-floor leadership role in the U.S. launch of an established European brand – you grow as we scale

SCHEDULE & LOCATION

• Full-time, onsite; Monday to Friday, daytime hours

• Our new warehouse & office: 1645 Leeson Lane, Corona, CA 92879

•  Start: as soon as possible

HOW TO APPLY

Apply with your resume – it takes two minutes, no cover letter needed. We review every application and respond to all qualified candidates.
