Job description

Amazon Freight Partner (freightpartner.amazon.com) is a expanding program that enables entrepreneurs to start and grow their trucking business alongside Amazon, with exclusive training, ability to hire from their local communities, and long-term growth potential. The Amazon Freight Partner team is seeking candidates with entrepreneurial spirit who are quick learners and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment.
As a Sr. Product Manager in this role, you will be responsible for launching new products and features to support AFP growth in taking incremental flexible work opportunities. You will be responsible for defining the product features, work with cross functional teams (product, engineering, pricing, marketing, fleet, legal, etc.) to grow the space, set and manage goals and key KPIs, and manage the roadmap. You will make key strategic decisions and get buy-in from senior leadership across transportation. If you enjoy building from scratch, working in a fast-paced environment, and structuring ambiguous problems, this could be a great role for you.
As an ideal candidate, you will need an extensive background in product management, demonstrated leadership of high-impact strategic initiatives, and experience in managing and launching products. You possess the ability to synthesize customer pain points, craft product vision and roadmaps, develop requirements and manage all aspects of execution. This requires rapid learning in new domain areas, understanding integration between products and systems, technical skillsets in analyzing data to make product decisions. This role offers an opportunity to play a prominent role in leading efforts that make a difference to our customers, while improving our efficiency and cost structure. Successful candidates should be analytical, comfortable thinking big and diving deep, and have a proven track record of end-to-end project ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Usage of generative AI tools to enhance workflow efficiency, with a willingness to learn effective prompting and evaluation practices
- Ability to recognize opportunities where generative AI could enhance products, workflows, or customer experiences

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
