Seattle Choice Transport is hiring recent CDL graduates and CDL permit holders

to join our Driver Trainee Program supporting the Amazon Freight Partner network. This is a great opportunity to gain real-world experience, build safe driving habits, and quickly transition into a high-paying solo driver role.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Starting Pay: $22/hour
  • Schedule: 3 days per week (13-hour shifts)
  • Overtime: Available after 40 hours
  • Consistent, year-round work

What Youll Do

  • Haul Amazon loads (primarily no-touch freight)
  • Operate modern equipment
  • Run local (home daily) or regional routes (home every other day)
  • Work a minimum of 39 hours per week
  • Deliver loads safely, on time, and with professionalism

Retention Agreement (6-Month Commitment)

Drivers are expected to remain employed for a minimum of 6 months after being approved to drive solo. Early departure may result in a training reimbursement fee.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
  • Able to read, write, and speak English
  • Comfortable using smartphones and basic technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • GPS/mobile app experience
  • High School Diploma or GED
