Job description

Amazon Freight is building an innovative transportation network with the vision of redefining shipping for its customers. As our Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) business continues to grow, pricing is a critical capability that enables us to deliver competitive customer pricing while optimizing network utilization, carrier performance, and long-term profitability.
We are seeking an experienced pricing leader to help shape and execute Amazon Freight's LTL pricing strategy. In this role, you will own pricing initiatives across customer segments, transportation products, and network capabilities by leveraging market intelligence, carrier economics, shipment characteristics, and advanced analytics to develop scalable pricing solutions. You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Operations, Finance, Science, and Engineering teams to build pricing models, improve pricing automation, and continuously optimize pricing performance.
This position requires strong business judgment, exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of freight pricing dynamics. The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with operational excellence, is comfortable making data-driven decisions in ambiguous environments, and has experience translating complex transportation economics into scalable pricing strategies. Key job responsibilities
* Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Amazon Freight's LTL pricing capabilities, building scalable pricing products that improve customer experience while driving profitable growth.
* Define and evolve pricing strategies across customer segments, shipment characteristics, and transportation products by leveraging LTL market dynamics, carrier economics, and data-driven insights.
* Partner with Science, Engineering, Finance, Sales, and Operations to design, build, and launch pricing products and decisioning capabilities that optimize conversion, profitability, and network performance.
* Define product requirements and prioritize investments to improve pricing accuracy, automation, and scalability while balancing customer value with business objectives.
* Establish product success metrics and own key business outcomes, including pricing adoption, conversion, profitability, pricing quality, and customer experience.
* Work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to shape long-term pricing strategy, influence product direction, and drive alignment across the organization.
* Leverage AI and machine learning to build next-generation pricing capabilities that automate pricing decisions, improve pricing quality, and accelerate product innovation.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
