Want to join a dynamic broadcast and rapidly growing digital media company with both a national footprint and a legacy local presence? Be equipped to meet clients' needs from small to large scale, single to multimarket, B2B and B2C. KLAS, the CBS affiliate in Las Vegas, Nevada is actively looking for hungry, go-getter marketing executives that thrive on making great media recommendations to potential clients and then tracking great results. Ideal candidates will be able to get their foot in the door with potential advertisers with self-confidence and a robust suite of products.

What You'll Do:

  • Find, hunt and close multiplatform advertising business targets utilizing television and a wide variety of digital media tactics including verified partnerships with Amazon, Fullthrottle.ai, and more.
  • Develop a strong new business prospect list and actively and consistently make new business calls.
  • Build and grow relationships with local businesses and advertising agencies, serving as a trusted marketing advisor who uncovers needs and provides smart, strategic solutions.
  • Prepare and present compelling, datasupported presentations that clearly communicate campaign value and expected results.
  • Develop and follow a plan to ensure successful achievement of revenue goals.
  • Provide superior client service through efficient and proactive communication, order management, and post-campaign reporting.
  • Effectively manage proposal requests, rate negotiation, preemptions and make goods under tight deadlines.
  • Collaborate with managers and internal teams to ensure campaign success for your clients.
  • Support collection of receivables.
  • Follow all station procedures for order entry, trafficking, reporting, and billing.
  • Actively track activities, pipeline, and account progress using CRM tools to maintain visibility and accountability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge of a wide variety of digital advertising tactics, products, and capabilities.

  • An understanding of basic marketing principles, the customer buying funnel and how to apply tactics at the right point in the customer journey.

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • College degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in advertising sales is preferred or minimum of 5 years of business-to-business sales is essential.
  • Ability to create functional and effective documents in PowerPoint and Excel. Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with Wide Orbit is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a satisfactory driving record.
  • Modern, professional appearance is a must.
