Job description

Camgian is seeking an AWS focused DevSecOps Architect to support the migration of a hybrid software factory to a single-account AWS GovCloud environment, designed for future multi-AZ expansion. The architect modernizes CI/CD, DevSecOps, MLOps, Kubernetes, and AI engineering capabilities while aligning services with AWS best practices. The environment includes Amazon EKS, SageMaker, Managed MLflow, DVC, Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, PostgreSQL, and AWS IAM.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • DevOps, release engineering, SRE, platform, or automation experience.
  • 5+ years in cloud architecture, DevSecOps, or platform engineering.
  • Experience with AWS GovCloud and Kubernetes (RDS, EFS/EBS, IAM, S3, EKS).
  • Experience with MLOps platforms including SageMaker, Managed MLflow, and DVC.
  • Knowledge of PostgreSQL, containerization, Helm, and Linux administration.
  • Experience with RMF, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP environments.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across engineering teams.
  • U.S. citizenship required.

Desired Skills:
  • AWS Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Professional certification.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting secure connectivity between enterprise networks and AWS
  • Experience integrating Bitbucket, JFrog Artifactory, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience migrating regulated environments from on-premises to AWS GovCloud.
  • Experience leading AI-enabled software factories and engineering organizations.
  • Experience supporting regulated environments, RMF, NIST 800-171, NIST 800-53, or ATO-related delivery.

  • Assess the existing hybrid software factory and create a migration roadmap.
  • Design AWS GovCloud-native reference architecture using EKS and managed AWS services.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automated CI/CD pipelines.
  • Integrate SageMaker, Managed MLflow, DVC, JFrog Artifactory, and Bitbucket.
  • Lead DevSecOps practices including IAM, security baselines, vulnerability management, and compliance.
  • Support RMF/cATO, NIST 800-171, and FedRAMP High engineering activities.
  • Optimize cost, performance, resiliency, and operational support.
  • Mentor engineering teams and establish operational standards.
